Different licenses are available for the various versions of the WUFI® software family. There are also special educational licenses for each product. The following table provides an overview of the different licensing options.
Full Versions

| Delivery | After registering at the WUFI® Online Shop, the program can be downloaded. As soon as we can confirm the payment, the license key to unlock the program is sent via e-mail. |
| Updates/Upgrades | 5-years licence: Minor software updates (e.g. from 6.4 to 6.5) are free of charge during the validity of the license. Major upgrades (e.g. 6.x to 7.x) can be purchased for a reduced price. 1-year- and 3-year licenses: both updates and upgrades are free of charge during the validity time. All updates/upgrades contain the current version of material, climate and construction database. You will be notified to the possibility to get an update/upgrade in your account in our Online Shop. |
Free Versions

| Delivery | Go to "free versions" in our WUFI® Online Shop (registration required). There, you can apply for the program. After that you will get your license key and the downloadlink via e-mail. |
| Updates/Upgrades | No updates/upgrades are required. You can get the latest free version by applying again. |
Educational Licenses
| Eligibility | Employees at the educational institution and only on institute-owned computers. |
| Which versions? | Multi-user licenses for all versions except WUFI® Passive (WUFI® Passive functionality is available through WUFI® Plus). |
| Usage | Only non-commercial. |
| Duration options | 5 years |
| Delivery | After registering at the WUFI® Online Shop, the user can apply for eductional licenses and download, complete, and return the User Agreement. When the access is activated the educational licenses can be purchased. |
| Updates/Upgrades | Minor updates (e.g. from WUFI® 6.4 to 6.5) can be installed. Upgrades (e.g. from WUFI® 6.x to 7.x) are not available. New versions can be obtained only by purchasing a new educational license. |
Course Licenses

| Delivery | You can order free student licenses in our WUFI® Online Shop (registration required). Go to "students licenses" and apply for the needed version. You will get sent the neccessary form to fill out and sent back. For each version a single form is mandatory. |
