Terminology
Updates:
- new minor version within the major version (for example update WUFI® Pro 7.x to 7.2)
- free of charge
Upgrades:
- new major version (for example upgrade WUFI® Pro 6.x to 7)
- with costs (see price overview)
The updates and upgrades always contain the latest version of the material, climate and construction database.
Upgrades can be purchased on our upgrade page after validation of the license key .
Costs
5 and 10-year-licenses (except WUFI® Passive licenses):
Can be upgraded for a reduced upgrade fee. The new runtime is again 5 years.
Applies to:
- WUFI® Pro (5/10-year license)
- WUFI® 2D (5/10-year license)
- WUFI® Plus (5/10-year license)
1-year-licenses + all WUFI® Passive licenses:
Free upgrade within runtime, after end of period, you can purchase the license again. A reduction on the purchase prices for new licenses is not provided.

- WUFI® Pro (1-year license)
- WUFI® 2D (1-year license)
- WUFI® Plus (1-year license)
- WUFI® Passive (1-year license, 3-year license and 5/10-year license)
