In the context of our 25th anniversary, we provide you with our training videos “WUFI® Program Tour”.

The WUFI® Program Tour allows a quick introduction to the program WUFI® Pro. Based on an example the procedure from entering a construction to evaluating the results is shown step by step. Hereby the most important functions are explained as well as the post-process modules are discussed.

WUFI® Pro Program Tour:

WUFI® celebrates its 25th anniversary

Our software family has now been established in the professional world for 25 years and is internationally recognized – planners, building product manufacturers, construction companies and experts from more than 100 countries use the various products of the WUFI® family. The programs are also implemented for research and teaching purposes at numerous educational institutions and universities. Which WUFI® software products exist? How can moisture in buildings be evaluated in practice? What are the basic principles behind hygrothermal simulation, what input data are required and how can the results be evaluated? In this jubilee year, Dr. Simon Schmidt, head of the Department of Hygrothermics at Fraunhofer IBP, will be addressing these questions in various weekly training videos. The institute makes the videos available on the YouTube channel.

All further information about the anniversary will also be prominently presented on this landing page.

Survey on the application of hygrothermal simulation software

You know mould, thermal bridges, algae and frost damage from your daily planning and construction practice?

Up to now simplified methods such as thermal bridge or the so called Glaser or dew point calculations are mainly used for that purpose. Increasingly, however, more sophisticated hygrothermal simulation programs like WUFI® or DELPHIN are applied.

However, in practice, planners are often in doubt, which evaluations and proofs of function they need, how they can interpret the simulation results correctly and finally how reliable input data and results are.
